Are you as fluent as your CIO?
Eight questions a chief executive officer should answer from memory, without a
dashboard and without asking the person who would know. In an earlier job I would have managed
about half of them. Today I can answer seven, and the one I cannot is what a single
AI-handled customer contact costs me.
How to take it
- Answer about the company you run now, not the one you would like to run.
- From memory. No dashboard, no phone, and do not ask the person who would know.
- There are no right answers. Nobody is marking you, and nothing is sent anywhere.
- Turn the dial, and only then does the page tell you what the question was really for.
